This November’s election is an important election due to what may happen in Amherst after the election.
I was very tempted to enter this race as a write-in candidate. This would only cause confusion between the choice the public has now and someone like me, who isn’t owned by anyone.
I would make major changes in how Amherst is run. I do believe I could run Amherst better than both of them. Neither of the two candidates really know the heartbeat of the people of Amherst.
I decided to let these two men fight their battles in front of the public so the public can judge who should be their Supervisor.
What finally convinced me not to run as a write-in candidate for Supervisor was what occurred Monday afternoon at the Town Board meeting when the Town Board made their choice for the ZBA.
The whole fiasco with the ZBA proves that the people chosen to be on Town Boards must be crippled minded fools who are blind to the truth. Those who sit on the Boards are plastic, robotic folks who can’t think for themselves. If they had an original thought they wouldn’t know what to do with it.
The people on these Boards only want to know if dinner will be ready when they get home. They don’t have the capability of knowing what real feelings are supposed to feel like. If they did they would listen closely as people in front of them explain their problems. Most members serving on these Boards don’t even know what day it is.
They act as a group of smelly dead fish. They sit on the stage with no thoughts of their own. Some sleep others carry on personal conversations while the residents pour out their hearts. The ‘power people’ control these brainless dead-minded idiots so they can vote yes on what their controllers want them to vote yes on.
I offered to become a member of the ZBA but that couldn’t be allowed. They would never allow anyone in who might put a crack in the cement wall the political bosses built around this sickening group.
The only way these Boards can be made to function fairly is to get rid of the people who appoint these parrots. The method of choosing people to be on these Boards must be changed.
This past Monday afternoon the Town Board put Duncan Black back on the ZBA. He was on it before. At present he is on the Traffic Study Board. So he serving on two Town Boards. This will give him a chance to stick it to the people of Amherst twice as often.
It’s clear to me that no mercy can be shown to these corrupt board members.
I’m a man who can see the light through the forest. Never again will I be fooled in believing those in power would ever choose a man like me because they wouldn’t be able to sleep at night for fear of reprisal from their controllers.
