An 18-year-old former Chuck E. Cheese’s employee and her mother are charged with robbery and assault in a June attack on the teen’s co-worker at the chain’s Amherst location.

Keinisha Ware and Sonya L. Holmes, 49, who live together in northeast Buffalo, surrendered to Amherst police July 12, according to police and court records. Amherst police did not disclose the arrests until Thursday.

Police did not name the 18-year-old, but Ware was listed as a suspect in the original incident report. The Buffalo News confirmed her identity with Town Court.

According to that report from June 9, a manager at the 4994 Harlem Road venue said Ware bumped into, and attempted to punch, a 17-year-old employee. The manager fired Ware, who left but returned later with Holmes and another woman. The trio started punching the 17-year-old, who escaped before Ware picked up a napkin holder and threw it at the teen, hitting her in the face.
