No State Grant for Williamsville’s Brewery Idea

Williamsville was not the recipient of a $10 million state grant for its proposal to transform a warehouse into a brewery and improve the surrounding streets.

That Downtown Revitalization Initiative award went to Olean to revitalize its downtown neighborhoods and generate new opportunities for long-term growth.

But Williamsville officials say they remain committed to transforming the building at 34 W. Spring St. into a microbrewery, as well as a food cooperative, artisan market and artists’ studio and gallery space.
