Rep. Chris Collins Should Resign
Rep. Chris Collins made it clear town hall events are useless and usually full of protesters. He has made it clear he will never have a town meeting because of fear of harm to himself. He has mentioned how demonstrators have shown up at many town hall meetings hosted by Republicans, about cowards just like the town hall meeting hosted by Democrats before the passage of the controversial Affordable Care Act seven years ago.
This piece of nothing, and I mean Mr. Collins, must never be elected to any government office again. He should start reading his American history books to grasp how America became a country of hope and freedom. He would learn it came down to great men and women who put their lives on the line to make America the greatest citadel of hope for the world.
America’s history books don’t have much to say about cowards who helped make America great. There are many stories about hard working men and women who worked to build our country.
Our elected officials and proud Americans include Thomas Paine and Patrick Henry who proudly said, ”Give me liberty or give me death,” Rosa Parks who was told to sit in the back of the bus but refused, putting her life in jeopardy, Martin Luther Luther King Jr. who led the fight for black civil rights and paid for it with his life.
The list of great Americans who stood up for the rights of the people is long and worthy.
The list of cowards is limited but would have to include the likes of Chris Collins and his close friends who meet in a little town near Amherst. There they plan ways to illegally rip off money so this small group of friends can became richer and more powerful. Rep. Collins has made deals with several unsavory people who might show up at a town meeting ana greatly embarrass him.
Chris Collins has done nothing for his people but treat many with lies and disrespect
He needs to hold a town meeting with as much protection necessary to feel safe. A coward develops courage when he feels he safe. Collins will be safer when he loses his seat in Congress and he’s with his private group of friends in the little house near Amherst discussing new ways to make money.
