Steve Meyer for Assembly

When I go door to door, I always tell voters: “I refuse to accept any campaign contributions from major corporations and their lobbyists.” When I tell them this, they always look at me and say “How do you do it? How do you run a campaign like that?” They are usually surprised that someone is willing to take such a step.

In response, I tell them- “It’s pretty simple- campaigns can be won by hard working people working together.”

Today, I’m asking you- can you be one of those hardworking people and spread our message by going door-to-door?

I’m making a personal plea to anyone out there today- if you can go door to door for this campaign, please send me an email and let me know. I’ll set you up with some palm cards and a walk list. Even if you can only knock on your neighbors door and give them a palm card, it would help immensely. Email me at or call me at (716) 880-6083.

You don’t need to donate money to contribute to this campaign. You can invest in this movement by spreading our message.

Thank you.

My best regards,
Steven Meyer

In order to change what is occurring in Albany it is necessary to change the people we sent to Albany. A vote for Steve Meyer is a vote for the future.

  2. John says:

Will he vote for Sheldon Silver? A vote for the current speaker is a vote against the interests of his own constituency. He is the endorsed Democrat. How does he propose to go against his own party on what be would his first vote of consequence?

  3. Concerned Citizen says:

John, it seems to me that you have already made your mind as to what Steve Myers would do if elected. Frankly, it sounds like the same old, same old negative politics we are all tired of hearing. Give the guy a chance, and don’t do this sort of covert character assassination!

  4. Concerned citizen says:

Why don’t we let Steve answer that.

  5. John says:

Asking two questions is not character assassination, covert or otherwise. Nor is it some form of negative politics. It’s our civic duty. This site has expressed support for this candidate and shared his request to assist his campaign, so presumably he or one of his supporters will see the questions and know the answers.

I’ve asked them before and received no response, so I will continue to ask them. Does Mr. Meyer support Mr. Silver? How would he vote? It is particularly relevant because Mr. Silver is a member of his own party. How would he address that issue?

Here’s a few more. Does he support Gov. Cuomo’s decision to shut down the Moreland Commission? Does he beleive the Attorney General should investigate? Does he support Common Core?

CC- why aren’t you asking these questions?
