‘Suneel’s Light’ Charity Event Includes Benefit Auction

Oct. 10, 2018

Duchenne Muscular Dystrophy (DMD) is a lethal genetic childhood disease.

Currently, about 15 children in our community suffer from this devastating disease. We invite you to learn more about DMD, and how you can help.

The Suneel’s Light Foundation’s annual “A Night to Shine” charity event will be held from 6 to 9:30 p.m. Thursday at the Hotel @ The Lafayette, 391 Washington St.

The event, in the hotel’s grand ballroom, will offer an evening mingling with celebrity guest stars from the worlds of science, media, sports, entertainment and politics, while enjoying cocktails, craft beer tastings and live music.

A benefit auction will include items from the Bills and Sabres, and from popular Western New York restaurants, shops and companies.

Tickets for the event are $150 or $250 per couple. All proceeds go toward finding treatments and a cure for Duchenne muscular dystrophy.
