Morgan Sells Chick-fil-A Property in Cheektowaga for Nearly $3 Million

Rochester developer Robert C. Morgan has sold the Cheektowaga property containing the area’s first Chick-fil-A restaurant, reaping $2.825 million in cash from the deal.

Morgan — through Morgan Cheektowaga LLC — sold the restaurant at 1753 Walden Ave. to Bruce 5 LLC, which is controlled by Bernadette O’Connor of Long Island City in Queens.

Located just west of the Walden Galleria mall, the 1.44-acre property features a one-story red-brick restaurant building totaling 5,034 square feet. It’s the former site of Famous Dave’s restaurant, which was demolished to make way for the popular chicken eatery, which opened last November.
