In 2005, shortly after the restaurant opened, Rick Brewer showed a bit of what Bill Gray’s had to offer. 

Bill Gray’s, a Webster-based burger chain, has closed its only location in Western New York.

The Clarence restaurant at 8214 Main St. closed after its lease expired, according to the company’s website.

The restaurant opened to much fanfare in 2004. At the time, the privately owned restaurant said it chose to expand to the Buffalo market because it believed families in this region go out to eat more often than those in other parts of the state.
